Hershey

Bryan Tool was called upon by Hershey Company, a large candy manufacturer, about a problem with one of the their existing machines. The problem was causing the process to function inefficiently and was creating a hazardous situation for the operator, which ultimately meant a potential liability to the company as a whole.

The Bryan Tool team was able to react quickly to the problem and traveled to the factory to diagnose the issue. The Team inspected the suspect machine on the floor, identified and analyzed the problem and took the data back to their home office to prepare the solution.

Once at the Bryan Tool facility, the designers examined the data and found that a designed modification on the current machine could be made to alleviate the problem. With the improved design of the part complete, Bryan Tool's precision machinists took the design into the shop and crafted a piece that matched the design specifications precisely.

With the finished product in hand, the Bryan Tool Team traveled back to the Hershey factory and installed the new part onto the machine, therefore correcting the mechanical issues and relieving the financial ones. By tackling the entire project, from initial analysis to final installation, Bryan Tool was able to save this large candy manufacturer time and money, plus assure their renewed safety.

On the Ground with Our Troops

When a large military contractor needed a web-enabled communications facility that was both portable and powerful, they turned to Bryan Tool & Machining. The need was simple and straightforward, enable US Soldiers stationed in Iraq to communicate with family members back home using web-based video conferencing, e-mail and chat, in a facility that would double as a recreational area.

Bryan Tool was eager and willing to rise to the challenge. The entire facility needed to be self-contained and capable of being delivered by aircraft. The work resulted in a mobile Web Cafe that was rugged enough to withstand both deployment and the demands of daily desert use, while providing a solution that resulted in increased troop morale.
